Coushatta Casino Resort Unveils Major Expansion with New Luxury Hotel Tower Set for May Debut

Coushatta Casino Resort, recognized as Louisiana's largest casino resort, is preparing for a substantial enhancement to its guest offerings with the upcoming inauguration of a new luxury hotel tower in May. This highly anticipated addition is set to significantly expand the resort's accommodation capacity, bringing its total guest room inventory to more than 1,000.

Owned and operated by the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana, the new eight-story structure will introduce an additional 204 guest rooms alongside 100 premium suites. Designed for convenience and guest experience, the new tower will seamlessly connect to the existing resort facilities, providing direct access to the expansive casino floor, diverse dining establishments, entertainment venues, and other core amenities.

Since its opening in 1995, Coushatta Casino Resort has established itself as a pivotal economic driver and a leading hospitality destination in the region. The resort consistently attracts visitors from across Louisiana, Texas, and other nearby states. This latest expansion underscores the resort's continued commitment to growth and its long-term vision.

Nate Tanner, General Manager of Coushatta Casino Resort, emphasized the strategic importance of this development. "This expansion reflects the continued vision and long-term investment in the future of Coushatta Casino Resort," Tanner stated. He further elaborated on the broader impact, noting, "For more than three decades, Coushatta has served as an economic engine for our region. This new hotel tower strengthens our ability to welcome more guests, create new jobs and enhance the overall resort experience for years to come."

Parallel to the physical expansion, Coushatta Casino Resort has also seen recent key appointments. Earlier this month, Tanya Duhon was named the permanent Chief Financial Officer. Additionally, Britton Pruett recently joined the executive team as the Director of Food and Beverage, overseeing the resort's extensive culinary operations.

A formal grand ceremony is scheduled for May to commemorate the official opening of the new luxury development. The event will host a distinguished gathering, including tribal leaders, various development partners, resort executives, and representatives from the design and construction firms that contributed to the project.
