FDJ United Unveils Executive Leadership Reorganization

FDJ United, a dominant force within the European betting and gaming landscape known for its array of iconic brands, has implemented substantial modifications to its senior leadership team. These strategic adjustments underscore the company's ongoing commitment to evolving its operational and strategic frameworks.

Prominent among the changes is the elevation of Pascal Chaffard. Formerly serving as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and the driving force behind Strategy and Performance, Chaffard will now helm the Online Betting and Gaming business unit. His new mandate is multifaceted, as he assumes the dual capacity of Chief Online Betting and Gaming Officer alongside Group Strategy and Operational Transformation Officer. This expanded role positions Chaffard at the nexus of FDJ United's digital expansion and its broader corporate transformation initiatives.

In his capacity as Chief Online Betting and Gaming Officer, Chaffard steps into the shoes of Nils Andén. Andén had previously held this crucial position and was instrumental in orchestrating the integration of Kindred into the FDJ United Group, a process that commenced in October 2024. Following a period of significant contribution, FDJ United has confirmed Andén's departure from the company, citing his intention to pursue new professional endeavors.

Chaffard's transition to his new senior executive roles creates a vacancy in the critical Chief Financial Officer position. FDJ United has initiated a rigorous recruitment process to identify a suitable successor for the CFO post, with an announcement regarding the appointment expected in due course. Until then, Chaffard's oversight will include core aspects of the Group's operational transformation and strategic direction.

Further reinforcing its executive bench, FDJ United has also announced an enhanced role for Celia Verot. Having joined the company in 2024 as Chief Regulatory Officer, Verot has seen her responsibilities significantly broadened. Effective January 1, Verot assumes the comprehensive title of General Secretary, General Counsel, and Chief Regulatory Officer. This consolidation of legal, governance, and regulatory oversight under her leadership highlights FDJ United's emphasis on robust compliance and corporate governance as it navigates the complex European market.
