The company has brought on Rich Wasserman, an accomplished leader with a distinguished career at major tech firms, to serve as its Senior Vice President of Product Engineering.

Wasserman brings a wealth of expertise to his new role, boasting more than twenty years of experience in the fields of data science and engineering. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in guiding organizations and developing sophisticated, high-performance technology platforms.

In his capacity as SVP of Product Engineering at Scientific Games, Wasserman will assume comprehensive responsibility for the company's global product portfolio, which underpins government-regulated lottery operations worldwide. His mandate includes spearheading advancements in both hardware and software platforms, thereby fostering a culture of innovation. Before joining Scientific Games, Wasserman's most recent position was at Stitch Fix, where he served as Vice President of Engineering and Data Science. In that role, he was responsible for leading integrated teams focused on platform optimization and automation. His extensive career also includes holding various senior leadership positions at industry giants like Facebook and Amazon. Academically, Wasserman holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and a degree in Computer Science from the University of Buffalo.
