Casino Guru USA Research Illuminates Infidelity Patterns Across U.S. States

A recent study commissioned by Casino Guru USA delves into the complex landscape of romantic relationships, specifically examining the prevalence of infidelity across the United States. Conducted in February 2026, the nationwide survey engaged 3,000 Americans, gathering their insights and experiences regarding unfaithful partners and personal admissions of disloyalty. The findings offer a detailed comparison, ranking each state based on the proportion of residents who have reported being cheated on.

Topping the list for reported infidelity, Florida indicates that a substantial 63.63% of its population has experienced an unfaithful partner. Furthermore, 38.54% of Floridians admitted to being disloyal themselves, and remarkably, approximately one in seven individuals currently in relationships within the state expressed a willingness to cheat if guaranteed anonymity from detection.

Louisiana secures the second position, with 62.52% of its residents indicating they have been betrayed, more than double the 30.61% who confessed to infidelity. The 35-44 age demographic in Louisiana reported the highest incidence of being cheated on, at 61.19%. Kentucky follows in third place, where 61.01% have reported unfaithful partners, contrasting with 27.58% admitting to such acts. For Kentuckians, the 65 and over age group showed the highest rate of betrayal at 58.99%.

Texas occupies the fourth spot, with 60.51% of its population reporting disloyal partners, while 36.8% acknowledged being unfaithful. Interestingly, men in Texas reported being cheated on more than women, at 61.41%. Utah rounds out the top five, with 60.44% of residents experiencing partner infidelity, against 28.67% who admitted to it. In Utah, women reported being cheated on more frequently than men, at 58.99%. The study notes that several of these higher-ranking states, such as Florida (Miami) and Louisiana (New Orleans), are known for their vibrant nightlife, which could potentially contribute to increased opportunities for infidelity.

Conversely, the research also identified states where partners appear most loyal. New Jersey is ranked as the state least likely to experience infidelity, though still reporting that 54.69% of residents have been cheated on. It also features the lowest national rate of self-reported infidelity at 24.62%, with the 25-34 age group reporting the least exposure to unfaithful partners (48.85%).

Massachusetts is second among the most loyal states, with 48.04% reporting being cheated on, compared to 28.90% admitting infidelity. Massachusetts women reported less betrayal than men, despite 51.34% of women overall reporting disloyal partners. Maryland is third, at 50.37% having experienced infidelity, with 28.06% admitting it. Women in Maryland reported a lower incidence of unfaithful partners (50.44%) than men.

Nevada sits in fourth, with 51.92% reporting disloyal partners and 30.61% admitting to cheating. The 35-44 age group in Nevada reported the lowest rate of being cheated on at 52.34%. Rhode Island completes the bottom five, where 52.26% have been cheated on, versus 28.94% admitting infidelity. Rhode Islanders aged 25-34 experienced the lowest proportion of disloyal partners at 52.34%.

Even in states with the highest reported loyalty, the prevalence of infidelity remains significant, with New Jersey, the most loyal, still showing over half of its residents have been victims of betrayal. The survey's methodology ensured geographic and demographic representation, asking participants about their personal experiences and opinions on cheating scenarios.
